Drum Horse and King Rocky News
May 4-6, 2007. The Kentucky Classic Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Show in Lexington, KY.
The beautiful Kentucky Horse Park was the site of the first Kentucky Classic, Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Show. Fifty Cobs and Drum Horses from around the country traveled to the Park to compete in over 40 classes ranging from in-hand to dressage, western, saddleseat and trail. King Rocky and his 2 year old son, Little Rocky, made the trip from Maine. We were thrilled to see several old friends and meet many new ones. King Rocky proved himself a strong competitor and captured Reserve Champion stallion honors as well as the title of overall Grand Champion. Little Rocky, in his first show outing, showed that he has what it takes to follow in his famous Dad's footsteps by capturing 1st place in Suitability for Dressage In-hand.
